StreamerPilot is Streamer and mps PILOT.As DJs they have played in around 25 countries on four continents. They have joined forces to form a producer and DJ duo, bringing new grooves for a global dance floor. StreamerPilot exists on the conjunction of state-of-the-art music production and global sounds, with an Anglo perspective. Tracks from Streamer’s solo albums have appeared on major compilations including Hotel Costes 5 (100,000 sold), 2 Many DJs’ Radio Soulwax and Unique’s New Testament of Funk. Streamer’s DJ alter ego is Alec Smart. As well as being a popular regular on the Amsterdam scene, he’s taken his infectiously funky-eclectic sound and astounding mixing skills to Spain, Germany, Italy, India, the Caribbean, New Zealand and many other places. mps PILOT made his reputation as a world groove DJ at festivals throughout Europe and further afield. They include Lowlands, 5 Days Off, Mystery Land, Dance Valley, The North Sea Jazz Festival, The Festival in the Desert, Sfinks and Sziget. And then there are his residencies and regular appearances at Paradiso and the Sugar Factory, in his home city Amsterdam. Using a rhythmic, intelligent mix technique, mps PILOT’s music functions as a mindopener.
Both Streamer and mps PILOT are krafty DJs seamlessly mixing electro, flamenco, kuduro, baile breaks, desi beats, dubstep, latin groove, tropical bass and balkan.
